How we support Aspire-igen
Our remit and relationship with Aspire-igen has evolved over the years. To the extent where we now provide a range of products, including mobile telephony, Cloud-based phone systems, Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) internet connectivity and a hosted virtual managed firewall. Our services here at Lake Technologies have proven invaluable to Aspire-igen’s communications over the years, which explains our enduring partnership.
Full digital transformation
Aspire-igen has undertaken a full digital transformation over the last four years. This has involved the implementation of a full network refresh with fibre internet links installed at each branch location. Using a virtual managed firewall, any network configurations or alterations can be made by Aspire-igen or Lake Technologies to minimise the stress of day-to-day changes. This network has been provided and implemented by our partner supplier, M247, who have also assisted with network configuration and disaster recovery planning.
Hosted VoIP provides flexibility
With the new MPLS network in place, Aspire-igen’s telephony has been transferred onto hosted cloud voice over IP (VoIP). All of their Avaya telephone systems across their various premises have been replaced with a hosted voice system that is available to all employees right across the business. The hosted telephony system effectively gives their personnel the freedom to work more flexibly, whether in the office or at home.
Reduced mobile costs by 40%
Aspire-igen initially had a number of separate mobile phone contracts in place. With the help of our Lake Technologies experts, they were able to consolidate their contracts, bringing all their mobile services under one supplier, while still enjoying the flexibility afforded by two network carriers. Once the project was completed, we were able to reduce Aspire-igen’s mobile costs by approximately 40%, with just a single bill to pay each month.
Streamlined monthly billing
Lake Technologies has streamlined Aspire-igen’s telecommunications billing processes. We’ve consolidated multiple services together to provide them with a single, manageable monthly bill. Our aim is to simplify Aspire-igen’s communications and ease any financial pressures by reducing their regular costs. Having one point of contact for provisioning and faults also provides peace of mind that Lake Technologies is on hand to help and support whenever they need us.
Improved user experience
Aspire-igen is looked after by our Commercial Director, Neil Needham. Neil has expertly overseen their account since joining the business in 2013. Adam Dagger, IT Director at Aspire-igen, is our main point of contact and by working closely together, Neil and Adam have been able to maximise Aspire-igen’s growth potential. Using new technologies has enabled us to reduce their overall telecommunications costs and improve their user experience.
Successfully maintaining connections
Aspire-igen rate Lake Technologies’ services extremely highly. We always strive to go the extra mile to provide a first-class service and work closely with Adam to identify innovative new opportunities that will elevate their communications further still. For instance, just recently we installed more than 250 points of cat 6 cabling systems at two new premises, and installed new connectivity to allow the business to move with little or no interference to the workforce.
